My days in the Big Apple – Where to stay and where to eat!

New York has a beautiful vibe that just inspires your soul. It’s fast paced, a little crazy but nonetheless, super fun! I have to admit that this trip was very impromptu, we had two weeks to prepare everything; Get the plane tickets and the hotel! I love planning trips (specially places to eat) but this time I literally just went with the flow.
Since everything was at last minute, we decided to find our hotel using the Hotel Tonight App. I’ve used this app many times in the past and we were super happy to be partnering with them for this trip. The app is very user friendly! Just download it, type the location and date where you want to stay and you will have several hotel options at even half the price for the night! You can also use my code MALRIXANDRERIOBUENO for $25 off  🙂

We picked The Freehand Hotel because of the location, plus the rooms are super cute! The entire staff was so friendly, the food from the three restaurant was delicious and the rooftop had yummy drinks and snacks (from the same menu from The Freehand in Miami!)
The rooftop is usually closed during the day but the view/drinks and music are amazing at night!

Now I’m gonna share with you three of the restaurants I liked the most (outside the hotel):

1. Banter: This place is perfect for brunch! Coffee was delicious and every single dish I tried tasted amazing. I would recommend you to get the beets toast with burrata. I got a piece from Nany and as soon as I tried it, I regretted my food decision lol!

2. Citizens of Gramercy: Another brunch place! I’m sorry but I just love brunch lol! Get the Benedict Eggs, they’re so good! And if you like matcha, get the matcha latte, yum yum!

3. Dim sum at Chinatown: I just love Dim Sum! It’s fun to eat and delicious! There are many Dim Sum restaurants in Chinatown, I recommend you to Google or Yelp any place and go to the one that has less people and good reviews! (lines get super long for dinner time!) – Unless you have the time to wait 🙂

2. Citizens of Gramercy: Otro lugar de brunch!

Citizens of Gramercy
At the end of the day what I enjoyed the most about this trip was the group of friend I went with. They made everything so much better and fun. We wore each other’s clothing, we ate delicious food and we walked a lot of miles while dancing and laughing! So my last tip is to just gather a small group of awesome people, pack your bags, don’t plan to much and have a blast! Stay tuned for another post of the outfits we wore on this trip and how we all shared our suitcases (Even Gabe! Lol)
Jajaja!)
