I’m gonna start this post with a “Can I go back to Charleston?” what a cute precious little town! Did you know they don’t have high buildings? And it’s against the law to build anything higher that the biggest church in town. Sound crazy but it totally makes the city way more charming!
It was such a fun and quick weekend getaway, but nonetheless, so much fun! I went with my friend Jocelyn from @chasingcarpediem, who totally made this trip unforgettable!
Voy a empezar este post con un “Será que puedo regresar a Charleston?” Qué ciudad tan hermosa! Sabías que no hay edificios muy altos? De hecho, está en contra de la ley construir algo que sea más alto que la catedral más alta de la ciudad. Suena extraño, pero esto hace que la ciudad se mantenga tan encantadora!
Fue un fin de semana rápido pero muy divertido! Fui con mi amiga Jocelyn de @chasingcarpediem, quien hizo que el viaje fuese mil veces mejor!
We stayed at The Beach Club at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina, and couldn’t have asked for anything better because it was honestly perfect!
The rooms are spacious, bright and incredibly comfortables! The beds were so comfortable I wanted to just put it in my suitcase LOL! But you know what’s best? Someone from the hotel staff would come to your room before bed time to make your bed ready to sleep, loveeeed that!
Every corner of the hotel was squeaky clean (yep I see that everywhere I go! Call me germaphobic I don’t care! lol) and the staff was always there when we needed them.
Nosotras nos quedamos en el Beach Club at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina, y no podríamos haber pedido nada mejor, fue todo honestamente perfecto!
Las habitaciones son espaciosas y les entra mucha luz (justo como me gusta!) Las camas son tan cómodas que quería meterlas en mi maleta jajaja! Pero saben que es lo mejor? Que en la noche un personal del hotel va a tu habitación para acomodarte la cama justo antes de ir a dormir!
Cada esquina del hotel estaba increíblemente limpia (Y sí, yo me fijo en eso adonde sea que voy! Me dirán germaphobic, no me importa! Jajaja!) y el personal del hotel siempre estaba pendiente cuando los necesitaba.
The hotel counts with a Spa, as soon as you step in you will feel 10 times more relaxed! I couldn’t leave Charleston without a massage so I got the Nirvana Stress Relief Massage. If you’re into lavender, this one for you! The massage lasted an hour and it was so good that right afterwards I just wanted to go back to my room and lay down in my comfy bed!
If you want to relax but you’re not into massages you can chill by the pool, just get a margarita from the tiki bar and enjoy the view with a beautiful sunset.
The hotel also has a restaurant called Charleston Harbor Fish Bar and I’m just going to say one word: OYSTERS! Many of you might not be fans of these little weird mollusks but I love them! These ones were so fresh you could taste the ocean – Plus the servers were so nice and attentive every time!
El hotel cuenta con un spa, tan pronto entras por esa puerta te sentirás muchísimo más relajada! No podía irme de Charleston sin antes hacerme un masaje, así que elegí el “Nirvana Stress Relief” y como el nombre lo dice, me quitó todo el estrés que tenía sobre mis hombros. El masaje duró una hora y tan pronto terminamos, me fui a mi habitación a acostarme en la cama jajaja!
Si te quieres relajar pero los masajes no son lo tuyo, puedes pasar la tarde en la piscina, ordenar una margarita en el Tiki bar y disfrutar de los atardeceres espectaculares!
El hotel también tiene un restaurant llamado Charleston Harbor Fish Bar y solo voy a decir una palabra: OSTRAS! Sé que muchos de ustedes no son fans de estos pequeños moluscos pero a mí me encantan! Las ostras de este restaurant son tan frescas que puedes saborear el océano! Además todos los mesoneros fueron muy amables!
A little bit about Charleston
Wear your comfy shoes because you’re going to walk a lot! Every street in this town is adorable you will see a lot of colorful doors and Spanish architecture! I would recommend you to go to Rainbow Row for that cute Instagram picture!
For the night we didn’t have anything planned until last minute! We decided to take a ghost tour. It was something different but nonetheless, super fun! We walked around the town at 11pm and ended up at the cemetery at 12am – how spooky is that?
My days in Charleston were amazing! If you’re planning on visiting this cute town, don’t hesitate it anymore!
Un poco sobre Charleston
Usa tus zapatos cómodos porque vas a caminar muchísimo! Cada calle de esta ciudad es adorable, verás muchísimas puertas de colores y arquitectura española! Les recomiendo ir a Rainbow Row si quieren una foto colorida para Instagram!
No tuvimos nada planeado para la noche hasta último minuto que decidimos hacer un tour de fantasmas. Fue algo diferente pero demasiado divertido! Caminamos por la ciudad a las 11 de la noche y terminamos en un cementerio a las 12 de la madrugada, qué tal? Pensé que no dormiría nada jajaja!
Mis días en Charleston fueron una maravilla! Si estas planeando ir a esta linda ciudad, no lo pienses más!
