My Room Transformation with GE

There’s nothing like home, or better yet, there’s nothing like your bedroom. For me, my bedroom is my Zen place, a place where I just relax and unwind from the day.

I can’t believe I moved to this little cute apartment in February and it’s now that I finally decided to decorate the bedroom since my main job was to finish the living room – I love decorating little by little because it helps me maintain my bank account all organized lol.

No hay nada como el hogar, o mejor aún, no hay nada como mi habitación. Para mi, mi cuarto es como mi lugar zen, un lugar para relajarme y descansar del día.

No puedo creer que me mude a mi pequeño apartamento en Febrero y no fue hasta ahora que decidí decorar mi cuarto! Ya que bueno, mi prioridad era la sala – Normalmente decoro poco a poco y así no le hago tanto daño a mi cuenta bancaria jajajaja!

The Before / El “Antes”

For me, light is everything. When I moved, one of my checkpoints was big windows for natural light, it just makes everything fresher, don’t you think? But at night I like to feel cozy and ready to cuddle up in bed, that’s why I went for the new vintage LED bulb. They have many styles to choose from, you can add a few bulbs to your chandelier or pendant (like I did) in any part of your home. These bulbs are also LED which means: SAVINGS, you’re not only saving energy but also money in the long run (that’s just win-win situation!)

Para mi, la iluminación es lo más importante. Durante el día amo una buena luz natural pero en la noche me gusta sentirme cozy y es por eso que decidí poner el nuevo bombillo Vintage LED de GE. Hay muchos modelos para elegir y puedes ponerlos en tu lampara colgante (como la mía o en un candelabro en cualquier parte de tu hogar. Estos bombillos son LED lo que significa: AHORROS, no solo estas ahorrando energía pero también dinero a la larga!

For the decoration, I went for a simple yet warm look. I added a frame with Polaroid pictures of me and Alex, a black board to write cute messages in it (I just love finding inspirational or funny quotes online and put them in there!) and a dream catcher Nany and Gabe got me from Ecuador. Then I went a little crazy with the pillows! But let’s be honest, by adding those pillows I just feel like getting some hot cocoa, read a book and go to bed lol!

Para la decoración, elegí algo simple pero bien cozy. Puse un cuadro con polaroids mias y de Alex, un board negro para escribir mensajes inspiradores o graciosos y un atrapa sueños que me trajeron Nany y Gabe de Ecuador. Termine comprando como mil almohadas que aunque sean muchas, hacen que todo se vea mucho más acogedor, tanto así que me provocó comprar chocolate caliente jajaja!
