Después de cuatro años de esfuerzo, estrés y momentos de soledad puedo decir que ¡me gradué! Hace cuatro años tome la difícil decisión de irme de mi querido país y me mude a Estados Unidos, donde decidí estudiar Publicidad y he disfrutado cada segundo de esta loca y hermosa aventura.
Un consejo que les doy a todas las personas que tienen la oportunidad de viajar así sea por un mes a estudiar otro idioma, HAGANLO. Estar fuera de tu país te hará crecer y aprender cosas más allá de un lenguaje. No es fácil estar lejos de casa, en especial si eres tan cercano a tu familia, pero es una experiencia que jamás olvidaras. Si decides hacer este paso tan grande en tu vida hazlo por ti y no por los demás ya que al final de día, la persona más importante en tu vida eres tú misma, cuando termines esta jornada tan hermosa y excitante, te sentirás orgullosa y te darás cuenta que puedes hacer cosas que nunca imaginaste que podrías hacer.
Mi acto de graduación fue en el estadio de mi universidad (California State University, Fullerton) así que fue al aire libre. Se supone que estamos en primavera pero se siente como verano en un desierto. Así que decidí ponerme un vestido muy fresco y unas sandalias abiertas. Maquillaje y accesorios mínimos ya que iba a sudar bastante y con la toga y el birrete negro se podrán imaginar, me sentía en un sauna. Siempre hay maneras de estar cómoda y a la vez elegante.

After four years of hard work, stress and moments of loneliness I can say that I finally graduated! Four years ago I decided to leave my country and moved to United States, where I majored in Advertising and I loved every second of this journey.
An advice I give to all the people that have the opportunity to travel, even if it is only a month to study another language, DO IT. Being outside of your country will make you grow as a person and will make you learn thing beyond the imaginable. It is not easy to be far from home, especially if you are close to your family, but it will be an experience you will never forget. If you decide to take this huge decision in your life do it for yourself and not for anyone else, because at the end of the day, the person more important in your life is yourself. When you finish this beautiful and exiting journey, you will feel proud and you will realize that you can do things you never thought you were able to do.
My graduation ceremony was at the stadium of my university (California State University, Fullerton) it is supposed to be spring, but it feels like summer in the desert. Since it was so hot I decided to wear a fresh dress and sandals. My makeup and accessories were simple because I knew I was going to sweat like crazy and with the black gown you can imagine, I felt like I was in a sauna. I realized that there is always a way to feel comfy and look elegant.
