Bringing Fall to Miami with Zappos and Clarks

My favorite season is Fall and I know what you’re thinking “but Gaby, there’s no Fall in Miami!” Well, as soon as the temperature drops just a little, all of us in Miami get our boots and light jackets out of our closets… Sounds weird, but as someone from the Caribbean, I can tell you that when I feels like 75F I’m so ready for sweater weather hahaha!

Ok, I’d prefer to spend Fall in a colder place like Boston or NY – which I will soon! but in the meantime I will enjoy the “not so hot” days in Miami! For this look I totally went for a fall in Miami look: comfortable and fresh with a touch of plaid, because let’s be honest, it’s not fall without plaid!

Sin lugar a dudas, mi temporada favorita es otoño, y lo se, ustedes dirán “pero Gaby, no hay otoño en Miami!” Bueno, les cuento que cuando la temperatura baja un poquito, todos aquí en Miami desempolvamos nuestras botas y nuestras camisas manga larga. Suena un poco loco, pero yo al ser una chica del Caribe, les puedo decir que cuando la temperatura llega a 22C, para mi ya es clima de sweater jajaja!

Tengo que admitir que preferiría pasar el otoño en algún lugar más frío como Boston o Nueva York – lo cual haré pronto! Pero por los momentos, disfrutaré de los días menos calientes en Miami! Para este look me inspiré totalmente en un otoño a lo Miami: cómodo, fresco y al mismo tiempo con un toque de tartán, porque seamos honestas, no es otoño sin tartán!

These Clarks boots are not only stylish but they’re super comfy and best of all is the amazing quality, they will definitely be a pair of boots that I will have in my closet for years and years! You can wear them with skinny jeans or even with a skirt and a pair of high socks, how cute would that be? I’m totally wearing them like that!
