5 Makeup Remover Products you need

My favorite part is to put make up and my least favorite thing is… you guessed it! Removing it! However, after trying so many products I FINALLY found 5 makeup remover products I can’t live without to clean my face and be sure I’m 100% makeup free.

  1. Reusable Makeup Remover Pads:
Reusable Makeup Remover Pads from Amazon

There are LIFE CHANGERS! I’m not kidding, I loved my cotton pads and I was afraid these reusable pads were not going to work, but well, I was wrong.

These amazing pads are great to remove my makeup, I use one side to remove my eye makeup and the other side to remove my foundation. After I use it I put it in a little pouch and when I use all 12, I put them in the washing machine, then in the drier and that’s it!

2. Micellar Water:

Micellar Water from Garnier

I use Garnier’s Micellar Water, I’ve been using it for years and it’s my favorite way to remove my makeup. I use the regular pink bottle because I normally don’t use waterproof makeup, in that case I would recommend the one with the blue cap.

I just add some of the water to the reusable pad, press it in my eye for a few seconds and remove all the makeup!

3. Cleansing Balm:

Cleansing Balm from Farmacy

My favorite balm by far is Farmacy’s Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm. Yes, it’s a bit pricey but a little goes a long way and it lasts me months. This balm is made with natural ingredients and it’s very gentle on your skin.

I apply a little bit in my fingertips to warm the balm, then I just apply it in my face with circular motions, add just a tiny bit of water and use the reusable pad to remove the foundation, lipstick and eyebrows.

Yes, you can use this to remove your eye makeup but I feel it’s a little bit too strong and it bothers my eyes. However, a lot of people use it to remove they eye makeup and they have no issues. Every person reacts different to it 🙂

BONUS!

After I remove my makeup with the products mentioned above, I of course, wash my face. Lately I’ve been using two products that work great for me. I added these two as bonus because to be honest I’m not picky with these brands, you can find any brush you like and any cleanser that works for you.

  • EDIT: Clarisonic is no longer in business, however there are plenty of cleaning machines that are awesome! Clarisonic: Let’s be honest, it’s an expensive little machine, but it works wonders! I don’t use it everyday, just the day I wear “heavy” makeup or need a deep cleanse.

My two favorite cleansers at the moment: Beautycounter and CeraVe

Hope you try these products and work wonders on you skin like they do on mine!
